The penultimate stretch of this five-issue Dark Horse series hits hard with issue three, and Jason Pearson's cover sets a striking tone — a determined blonde woman, revolver in hand, appears to rise from a swirling vortex of decomposing undead figures clawing at the edges around her. The teal-and-shadow palette gives the whole image a fever-dream intensity, with grasping zombie hands and snarling faces pressing in from every direction while she holds her ground with cool resolve.
