Midam's beloved Kid Paddle series gets a wonderfully absurd entry with "Aquaterminator," published by Egmont Polska in 2009. The cover says it all: Kid Paddle himself triumphantly stands atop a toilet bowl while a monstrous creature lurks within the murky water below, as a wide-eyed friend in a green hat watches nervously from a step stool nearby — and a startled red-haired girl reacts in alarm to the whole chaotic scene. It's a perfectly silly setup that captures everything fans love about this series' irreverent, gag-driven energy.
