Midam's Kid Paddle returns in this delightfully unhinged Polish edition from Egmont, titled "Obcy w bitej śmietanie" — loosely, "Alien in Whipped Cream." The cover says it all: a goggle-eyed, drooling monster erupts from an enormous cream-and-ice-cream-laden cake, while Kid Paddle leans in with a spoon and a wide grin, a smaller wide-eyed kid watching the chaos from below, and a hapless chef getting swallowed into the sugary mayhem on the right. It's the perfect snapshot of the series' anarchic, sugar-fueled humor that made Midam's work a staple of European all-ages comics.
