In the first story, Kid Koko, a young boy who idolizes dragons, encounters Oscar the dragon and demonstrates that dragons are nothing to fear, teaching Oscar and his dragon-child friends confidence. In the second story, "Koko and Kola," Koko and his animal friends Kola and Raymond accidentally release a vacuum cleaner inside the house, which causes chaos throughout the home before they manage to retrieve it; later, a retired clock character takes the children for a walk to a playground, but the children must follow and keep track of him to prevent him from getting lost.
When a magical goldfish named Swish tumbles out of her bowl, Koko, Kola, and Raymond rush to save her—only to discover she's no ordinary fish. Swish promises to grant Raymond a wish if he returns her safely to the park's fish pond, but a chaotic adventure through the city park—complete with a circus seal and an angry groundskeeper—stands between them and her watery home. Can the kids keep their promise and claim their reward, or will the day's wild mishaps cost them their one chance at magic?
When a young boy named Raymond discovers that his rug is actually Oscar the Dragon, a kind and imaginative creature, the two embark on a day of magical adventures—from saving a farmer's strawberry patch with tears that become rain, to creating strawberry ice cream in the clouds and skywriting with dragon steam. Oscar proves that a dragon's magic is best spent bringing joy to those around him, and Raymond learns he can visit his new friend anytime he needs a little wonder.
Koko and Kola head to the rodeo after reading about cowboys, eager to experience the excitement firsthand—but their first encounter with a bucking bronco sends them scrambling for their lives. When they spot a calf in distress, the pair tries to help, only to find themselves in a wild chase they never bargained for. By the time the dust settles, these two discover that the real cowboy life is far wilder than anything they'd imagined in their comics.
When Raymond discovers a magic searchlight that brings objects to life, he and his pals Koko and Kola decide to test it on a grandfather clock—with hilarious consequences! The clock, eager for adventure after years of standing still, escapes for a day of fun that quickly spirals into chaos, forcing the trio to stage a rescue mission they never saw coming.
