The cover of this September 1953 Atlas western grabs you immediately: Kid Colt dangles perilously from a rocky ledge, clinging by his fingertips while a menacing outlaw above him raises a weapon and sneers, "Ya might as well let go now, Kid…and die with all yer fingers!" — with a second gunman lurking in the background, the odds are decidedly not in the Kid's favor. Cover pencils by Sol Brodsky and Carl Burgos (with inks by Burgos) deliver a tense, vertigo-inducing scene that captures the desperate spirit of Wild West adventure.
