Kid Colt rides hard into danger in this 1976 Marvel Western, with the blond gunslinger atop his rearing gray horse coming face-to-face with a menacing armored villain whose iron mask makes him impervious to bullets — as the cover's own desperate caption makes clear. The story is titled "Behind the Iron Mask!" and the cover, rendered by Gil Kane and John Romita, crackles with kinetic energy as Kid Colt squares off against this seemingly unstoppable iron-faced hombre.
