“The Man From Fargo!”

Kid Colt charges guns-blazing out of a tunnel entrance on this 1971 Marvel cover by Herb Trimpe, both six-shooters firing as he pushes through a crowd of adversaries on every side. The bold "WANTED! DEAD OR ALIVE!" banner and Kid Colt's defiant speech bubbles — "I'm comin' thru — no matter how many of you there are!" — capture exactly the cornered-but-fearless spirit that made this series a staple of Marvel's western line. A bonus story, "The Man From Fargo!" rounds out the issue, written by Stan Lee with art by Jack Keller and inks by Joe Sinnott.
