Jul 1964 · Marvel · 0.12 USD
“The Fearsome Fat Man!”

In "The Fearsome Fat Man!", Kid Colt faces off against a bizarre outlaw known only as the Fat Man, a towering Australian threat who rules through brute force and a deadly boomerang. Written by Stan Lee and brought to life with bold, expressive art by Jack Keller, this 1964 Western thriller sees the lawman confront a criminal with a unique flair—only to make a quiet, principled choice that speaks louder than victory. The cover, a dynamic showcase by Jack Kirby and Sol Brodsky, captures the showdown’s intensity with a classic, high-stakes flair.

The Governor offers a full pardon to Kid Colt if he can capture the Fat Man, an Australian menace whose reign of terror is enforced with muscle and a boomerang. The Kid defeats the Fat Man but passes on the pardon by letting a wounded deputy take the credit, and the reward money, so that the deputy's family is taken care of.
