Few sights in 1963 Marvel comics are quite as striking as a frontier gunslinger on horseback charging through the crowded streets of New York City — and that's exactly what Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers deliver on this cover. Kid Colt, mounted and gun drawn, wrestles with the impossible dilemma spelled out in his speech bubble: how do you shoot it out when innocent bystanders are scattering in every direction around you?
