This collection presents the original Kick-Ass storyline from Marvel's Icon imprint, following ordinary teenager Dave Lizewski as he attempts to become a real-life superhero, only to find himself entangled with the far more violent and capable Hit-Girl and her father Big Daddy. The volume also includes early appearances of Mindy McCready, the young girl behind the Hit-Girl mask, as the series explores the brutal consequences of vigilante justice in a world without superpowers.
