Determined and resourceful, Graham works his way inside to confront the thugs—but the real fight comes when the captive himself gets a chance to strike back. This complete crime story, crafted by E. McD. Moore, Jr., delivers guns, grit, and the kind of street-level action that made 1939 detective comics so gripping.
Jack Moran, the heavyweight boxing champion, is ambushed by kidnappers after his title defense fight and forced into a car at gunpoint. When the criminals attempt to shake off a pursuing police officer, the champ seizes his moment to turn the tables and reclaim control of the situation. It's a lean, hard-hitting tale of a fighter who proves his quick thinking matches his knockout power.
