Katy Keene — the self-proclaimed "Queen of Pin-Ups and Fashions" — holds court under the mistletoe in this charming March 1959 issue, standing radiant in a holiday red gown between two admirers while a wide-eyed, bespectacled young girl peeks in from the side. Bill Woggon's clean, playful linework captures the flirtatious seasonal mood perfectly, complete with a banner promising hula hoop antics on ice, new fashions, pin-ups, cut-outs, and Debby's Diary. At a dime a copy, this was a lot of fun packed into one cheerful Archie Series package.
