Bill Woggon's "Queen of Pin-Ups and Fashions" is in fine form in this July 1957 issue, as Katy Keene and her little sister stride through a rainy city street, both decked out in matching red umbrella-print dresses and boots — and clutching matching red umbrellas, naturally. The cover's cheerful gag, with the younger girl deadpanning "I just stepped in a poodle," captures exactly the light, breezy charm that made this Archie Series title a fan favorite. With fan-submitted fashions credited on the cover itself, issue #35 is a warm snapshot of the playful, reader-engaged spirit Woggon brought to every page.
