Kathy, the Teen-Age Tornado, is in cheerful full stride on this Stan Goldberg cover, lightly strolling alongside a thoroughly overwhelmed Ricky, who is buried under an enormous pile of camping gear. Their speech bubbles say it all — Kathy's delighted she talked him into the hike, while Ricky deadpans that he couldn't possibly be any happier... right before admitting he'd kill himself if he were. It's a perfectly timed bit of visual comedy that captures the breezy, good-natured charm Stan Lee and Goldberg brought to Marvel's teen humor line in 1961.
