Kasta Metabaronów #1
The first volume of Egmont Polska's Polish edition of Kasta Metabaronów opens with a cover by Juan Giménez that immediately commands attention: a shaven-headed warrior in ornate, battle-worn armor fills the frame against a star-scattered void, a massive jeweled sword rising beside him with inscribed runes along its blade. The stoic gravity on that face — paired with the mechanical gauntlet glimpsed at his side — sets the tone perfectly for Alexandro Jodorowsky's sweeping dynastic saga, here subtitled "Prapradziad Othon." With Giménez handling pencils, inks, and colors throughout, this 2002 Polish edition is a handsome entry point into one of science-fantasy's most ambitious family epics.
