Kamandi, the Last Boy on Earth #24

From Jack Kirby and inker D. Bruce Berry comes this wonderfully eerie 1974 entry in DC's post-apocalyptic series, where the cover banner warns that the curse was powerful, evil — and real. Kamandi, his wild blond hair streaming behind him, rushes toward a ruined structure while a menacing orange-faced figure looms at the left and a green, monstrous form crouches in the foreground, all under the chilling invitation: "Welcome… Come in and — DIE!" With "The Exorcism!" as the story title, this issue clearly leans hard into supernatural dread, and the cover delivers that atmosphere in spades.
