Ka-Zar the Savage #23

This February 1983 Marvel issue puts Ka-Zar at the center of a tense, atmospheric cover, where the blond jungle lord — wired up to mysterious machinery and clearly at someone else's mercy — is cradled by a dark-haired woman in red while a ring of suited, badge-wearing figures and sunglasses-clad operatives look on with cold detachment. The contrast between Ka-Zar's raw physicality and the sterile, institutional crowd surrounding him gives the scene a real sense of dread.
