Ka-Zar the Savage #13

Ka-Zar the Savage #13 delivers an arresting cover by Brent Anderson, showing the muscular jungle lord mid-leap through a tangle of eerie, vine-like tendrils while clutching a golden-haired woman — the whole scene framed by those unsettling pink and purple growths that suggest the Savage Land is anything but safe. The tagline "Till Death Do Us Part!" gives the story a charged, almost romantic-thriller energy that writer Bruce Jones was bringing to this series in 1982.
