Ka-Zar Lord of the Savage Land #3

Issue three of this 2022 Marvel series finds Ka-Zar locked in a visceral mid-air struggle, knife raised and muscles straining as he grapples with a hulking, spike-armored creature whose jaws are wide open — all against a backdrop of writhing, fleshy organic shapes that hint at something far worse lurking below. A speech bubble proclaims "Long live the Flesh Weaver Domovoy!!!", suggesting the Lord of the Savage Land has stumbled into territory where new and unsettling powers hold sway. It's a gripping, beautifully grotesque cover that sets a genuinely threatening tone for wherever this series is headed.
