Kaänga #17
In "Fundgrube am Geierhimmel," Kaänga and Ann encounter a man with artificial wings who claims they are revered by his bird-like people. When the man and Ann are captured by treasure hunters demanding passage to the bird people’s hidden home, Kaänga—wounded but determined—tracks them down and stages a daring rescue. The hunters are subdued, but the fate of the bird people and the true nature of their sanctuary remain shrouded in mystery.
In "Voddoozauber verboten!", treasure hunters manipulate the Bathongas into believing Trader Thompson has enslaved their children, driving the warrior from his village in a desperate chase. While the Bathongas are away, the hunters ransack their home, but Kaänga and the unsuspecting Thompson uncover the deception and bring the thieves to justice.
