This anthology issue contains three stories adapted from true police and FBI cases. "The Body Snatchers" depicts criminals who profit from people's grief through illicit body-stealing schemes. "Blue-Blooded Trusty" follows Fred Tormel, a mild-mannered insurance clerk who murders his wife and attempts to dispose of her body in the desert, only to be caught when a Los Angeles detective investigating the missing woman causes him to confess. "Western Hero" recounts how Denver police officer Bill Hendrix, shot in the heart during a burglary investigation, manages to hold his .38 revolver and fire bullets into the burglar's chest before dying from his own wounds.
