This issue is an anthology adapted from True Police and FBI cases. The cover story involves federal agents attempting to intercept smugglers who plan to load contraband onto a ship, with pilots and coast guard personnel coordinating to uncover the hidden gun and arrest the criminals. "The Perfect Setup" follows hoods Rods April and Jerry Cramer on vacation who spot a wealthy woman's diamond-laden doll and scheme to steal the gems for a profitable heist in a small town. A third story features Bull Lancer, a newly appointed cop to the Cleveland police force working for the summer, who gets caught in a violent confrontation with career criminal Paul Trask, resulting in Lancer being attacked and ultimately subdued before Trask escapes.
