Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2 #3

Two figures — a bald man in a sleek armored suit radiating a green energy glow and a broad-shouldered man in a dark tactical jacket — survey a wall of massive monitor screens displaying a terrifying array of Titans: multi-headed serpentine creatures, a massive roaring beast, and enormous winged kaiju among them. It's a striking image of scheming human ambition set against the sheer scale of Monsterverse monsters, and Christian Duce's linework gives every creature on those screens real menace. Brian Buccellato and Duce's second volume continues to find fresh tension in the collision of the DC Universe and the Monsterverse, and this third issue looks like it's raising the stakes considerably.
