Justice League Unlimited #31

Superman kneels in a debris-strewn wasteland, clutching what appears to be a liquefying, melting Metamorpho — colorful puddles of the shape-shifter spreading across the ground — while Batman, Wonder Woman (lasso in hand), and the Flash look on with evident concern. The blurb "Meltamorpho!" sets the tone for this 2007 Justice League Unlimited issue, with Ty Templeton's cover art doing a wonderful job of conveying both peril and the eerie strangeness of Metamorpho's malleable nature. Adam Beechen scripts and Dave Santana handles the interior art for "The One-Man Justice League," making this a solid entry in DC's animated-universe tie-in series.
