Justice League Task Force #9

The tagline "New Blood for the Justice League Task Force — Wild Times!" sets an energetic tone for this 1994 DC entry, and the cover by Sal Velluto and Jeff Albrecht delivers on that promise. Martian Manhunter dominates the foreground in his classic green-and-red costume, fists raised and ready, while behind him a patriotically-costumed figure and a large purple-skinned brawler charge forward — with a fourth grey-toned hero visible at the right — all bearing down on an ominous clawed shadow looming at the left.
