Justice League Task Force #33

Issue #33 of Justice League Task Force puts the tension front and center, with the Martian Manhunter looming large over two armored figures — one in red-and-gold, one in gold-and-black — as a bold speech bubble demands, "Stop! You'll kill him!" The cover, penciled by Chris Batista and inked by Chip Wallace, crackles with physical urgency, the Manhunter's green fist gripping one combatant's arm in a forceful bid to end the confrontation. Writer Christopher Priest and artist Ramon Bernado bring "The Stand" to life in what looks to be a chapter full of internal conflict within the Task Force itself.
