Justice League Task Force #2

The tagline "Targeted for Death!" sets a tense tone for this July 1993 DC entry, and Sal Velluto's cover delivers on that promise — The Flash sprints at the center of a swirling circular composition, flanked by a blue-and-yellow costumed hero and a golden-haired powerhouse, while a dark-haired woman recoils in the foreground and an enormous, looming face bears down on them all. It's a dynamic, threat-laden arrangement that makes the Task Force feel genuinely outnumbered. David Michelinie's "Split Hit" story and Velluto's kinetic linework make this second issue a compelling early chapter for the series.
