Justice League of America #28
The "Dawn of Time" arc hits its second chapter with a cover that pulls no punches: Batman grapples furiously with Chronos, the green-and-gold time-manipulating villain wielding a blade overhead, while the rest of the JLA — including Vixen, the Ray, Killer Frost, and Hawk among others — scramble against a squad of red-armored attackers below. David Williams delivers a wonderfully kinetic composition that captures the full scope of the threat, reminding readers just how outmatched even the World's Greatest Heroes can feel when time itself is working against them. Steve Orlando and Hugo Petrus bring the story, and with Hi-Fi's sharp coloring rounding things out, this 2018 issue promises a team under serious pressure from every direction.
