Justice League 3001 #12
Justice League 3001 #12 brings the far-future DC series to a rousing close in July 2016, and Scott Kolins's cover packs the lineup in tight — a fierce lion-faced figure and a glowing dark creature loom on the left, while a blue energy-being, a smirking spiky-haired figure in yellow and white, and a stern young hero fill the middle row, with a haunting green-lit face lurking at the upper right. Front and center, a red-skinned figure commands attention above a small robot-like character, with a fiery-haired hero looming large in the foreground. Written by Keith Giffen and J. M. DeMatteis with interior art by Colleen Doran and Timothy Green II, this is one densely populated send-off for a series that wore its 31st-century ambitions proudly on its sleeve.
