“Wizard of the Whirling Doom”

In "Wizard of the Whirling Doom," Kaänga and Ann arrive in the village of Tonga just as their friend Bonako is set to be crowned chief in a sacred ritual. When the ceremony is sabotaged by a poisoned bowstring and a hidden arrow claims Bonako’s life, Kaänga must unravel the deception before the tribe turns on the wrong man. Written by Frank Riddell and illustrated by John Celardo, this 1948 jungle adventure blends suspense and tribal intrigue with a cover by John Celardo.
