In "Land That Time Forgot," three explorers survive a plane crash on the edge of a dormant volcano, only to be met by the enigmatic Kaänga and his companion Ann. When the hidden Ka-winas tribe attacks to protect their secret, Kaänga turns the explorers’ dynamite against them, igniting the volcano’s fury. With the flames rising, he sends the plane hurtling off the rim, its wreckage gliding toward the jungle below.

In "Taj of the Elephants," a young princess finds herself caught in a jungle peril when bandits seize her and her father. After saving a bandit’s life from a cobra, she earns his reluctant help, and when she frees an elephant calf from a trap, the herd takes her under their protection—leading her on a daring journey to rescue her father.
