This anthology issue features multiple jungle adventure stories. In the lead story, Kaanga the Jungle Lord battles a soaring winged creature in "Lair of the Winged Fiend." Wambi the Jungle Boy encounters warriors from the Smoking Mountain who have captured a girl, with aid from a helpful monkey. Capt. Terry Thunder and Fantomah pursue various jungle perils, while in another sequence, armed men attack a peaceful native village, forcing young warrior Halu to leave the village unseen and beat a warning drum to alert his people of the danger.
