Safari guides Shane, Jake, and Marty hope to steal anthropologist Harris's safari gear to sell to Arab traders. Knowing that Harris is seeking the Zoualas (who long left this country), they send out signal drum messages that there is to be a sacrifice at the old Zouala temple in order to draw Harris to them. However, the Zoualas also hear the message and prepare to avenge the profaning of their temple. Camilla rescues Harris and the Zoualas kill Shane and his men.
