“Morass of the Mammoths”

In "Morass of the Mammoths," longtime safari companions Miles and Carey return to the jungle they once fled, unaware that their abandoned friend Taylor survived—living among apes with no memory of his past. Now a wild, vengeful figure stalks them through the dense wilderness, but when Camilla intervenes, Taylor’s lost memories begin to surface. Written by Victor Ibsen and illustrated by Matt Baker with inks by Ray Osrin, this 1949 tale blends primal danger and forgotten bonds, with a cover by John Celardo that captures the tension of the moment.

Years ago, Miles and Carey abandoned their friend Taylor while on safari. Unknown to Miles and Carey, Taylor lived among the apes, as an amnesiac. Now they've returned to the jungle and Taylor is stalking them.
