Jughead #320
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 1982 Archie Comics gem captures a perfectly timed bit of suburban comedy right on its cover: Jughead's dad hands him a snow shovel despite the obvious lack of snow, and when Jughead protests — "But, Dad... there's NO snow!" — his father's deadpan reply is that by the time he finishes raking all those autumn leaves, there will be. The multi-panel cover layout tells the whole joke beautifully, with Jughead left holding both a rake and a shovel while a smirking Archie looks on, and a pair of onlookers peer over the fence and rooftop in amusement. Cover art by Stan G. gives the gag a warm, expressive energy that made Archie Comics such reliable fun throughout the era.
