Jughead #270 delivers a perfectly timed bit of Riverdale comedy right on its cover — Moose asks Jughead how to make Midge jealous, and Jughead's advice to "send her a photo surrounded by chicks" takes a hilariously literal turn in the bottom panel, where baby chicks swarm a bewildered Jughead while Moose gleefully snaps the picture. Stan Goldberg's clean, expressive linework captures the gag with great timing across the two-panel strip, while tiny skateboarders tumbling across the banner add a fun bonus flourish up top. A cheerful slice of 1977 Archie humor at its most charmingly absurd.
