Tired of Jughead in his house all the time, Mr. Lodge decides to send Jughead on an errand. But when Jughead goes to pick up instructions for the errand, he instead takes the credentials for a professional diplomat and is sent to Zapadapa, Honduras, where the local banditos are threatening Lodge's experimental plant. It turns out that El Slobador planned the whole thing as a way to hold a Lodge representative for ransom. Archie, Betty and Veronica go to Zapadapa to rescue Jughead, who’s under the protection of El Slobador's fearsome mother: he's the only one who can stand her "rotten cooking."
