From January 1973, Jughead #212 delivers a cheerful slice of Riverdale life as Jughead and Archie look on with amusement outside the "Chez Moi" beauty salon, where a stylishly dressed young woman meets another in bold plaid bell-bottoms — with Hot Dog trotting along on the sidewalk for good measure. The speech bubbles say it all: Jughead's comparing the beauty salon visit to Mission: Impossible, which tells you exactly where his priorities lie.
