“Get the Yolk?”

Jughead #186 perfectly captures its title character's laid-back spirit: while Archie jogs past waving a football and urging Jughead to join the physical fitness program, Jughead lounges in a hammock with a portable TV, deadpanning "What channel is it on?" — a gag that needs no explanation. Betty and Archie look on from the foreground as a couple of other teens sprint energetically in the background, making the contrast all the funnier. Cover pencils by Dan DeCarlo and inks by Rudy Lapick give the scene that warm, sunny charm that made Archie Series titles a staple of 1970 spinner racks.
