Jughead #159
In "Call Me Jughead," Jughead's well-intentioned meddling leads Archie into a heartfelt letter he never meant to send—only to find out too late that Veronica had already stood him up. With a clever twist and a stampless envelope, the trio finds a way to smooth things over before the message ever reaches its destination. Written by Dick Malmgren and illustrated by Bill Vigoda, with inks by Rudy Lapick, colors by Barry Grossman, and letters by Bill Yoshida, this 1968 gem features a cover by Dan DeCarlo.
