Judge Dredd the Megazine #27

This fortnightly May 1993 issue of Judge Dredd The Megazine makes an immediate impression: cover artist Mark Wilkinson depicts a snarling, armored Dredd bursting forward through a field of scattered jigsaw puzzle pieces — a fittingly unsettling visual for the story teased on the cover, "The Jigsaw Murders." The cover promises a bumper package, flagging four new series inside alongside a free Judge Dredd jigsaw and the start of a Judge Anderson story. At £1.25 it was a generous slab of Mega-City justice from Fleetway's fortnightly anthology.
