Judge Dredd #27

The cover of this IDW issue says it all — a full-figured Judge Dredd stands armed and ready before the imposing Hall of Justice, while an enormous, unsettling face looms in the background like a shadow over Mega-City One itself. Mark Torres's cover work gives the whole composition a tense, noir-inflected weight that fits "Mega-City Manhunt" perfectly. With Duane Swierczynski scripting and Nelson Dániel handling art, inks, and colors throughout, part three of this arc looks like a compelling chapter in one of IDW's strongest Dredd runs of 2015.
