When Pete stumbles upon a tramp with a pie and follows his lead to a house marked by names on the wall, he finds temporary shelter—only to be met with a bitter surprise after accepting a slice. The story’s eerie simplicity is matched by Russell’s own art and inks, while Joseph Morgan’s cover captures the moment with a touch of melancholy and mystery.
