One story follows a man named Grant who attends a theatrical performance at an old, abandoned Satan's Playhouse and is terrified by grotesque supernatural creatures—ghosts, ghouls, vampires, and demonic figures—performing an eerie dance before he flees in panic. Another story involves a demonic creature who has killed a man named John and now pursues a woman named Lucy, claiming he will murder her as well, though supernatural beings called "the Truggs" intervene to stop him.
In "Vampire Vengeance," two thrill-killers make a deadly mistake when they target a vampire, only to be hunted in turn by a horde that feeds on fear. After Peter sacrifices Mary to survive, she returns—not as a victim, but as a force of retribution.
In "The Devil's Ally," Mr. Kenton is drawn into a deadly game when he’s hired to care for the dying Mr. Thompson, a wealthy occultist with a dark fascination for the supernatural. When Thompson’s young, enigmatic wife Jet urges Kenton to kill him for the inheritance, the act unleashes a horrifying transformation—one that leaves Kenton haunted by the very devil he thought he’d summoned.
In "Evil Intruder," a Trugg, driven by a twisted longing for connection, infiltrates a secluded couple’s home, eliminating the husband and binding the wife, Lucy, in a spell that makes her believe the creature is her beloved. As they share an intimate moment, Lucy’s growing unease leads her to a horrifying realization—her lover is no man at all. The story unfolds with quiet dread, building to a chilling climax that leaves her fate uncertain.
In a chilling twist of fate, college students Peter and Mary set out to commit a murder for academic study—only to discover they’ve slain a vampire, unleashing a deadly vengeance that follows them from the fog-drenched wharf to Peter’s dorm room. As Peter tries to rationalize the horror, he’s forced to confront the terrifying consequences of his actions when the dead don’t stay buried.
