Jour J #41
The concluding chapter of the "Lune Rouge" arc brings this alternate-history scenario to its close — set in a 1984 where the Moon is staging its first revolution. The cover, rendered by Ponzio, is immediately atmospheric: a solitary figure in a bright yellow spacesuit stands on the lunar surface before an imposing Soviet-marked lunar rover, its crew visible through the vehicle's windowed cab, with Earth hanging in the dark sky above. Duval & Pécau's alternate-history series has been building to this third and final installment, and this image of isolation and confrontation against an unearthly backdrop makes it one of 2020's most visually striking entries in the Jour J line.
