Jour J #16

In the Jour J alternate-history series, issue #16 poses one of the great "what if" questions: what if the Titanic had completed her maiden voyage without incident? The cover, painted by Damien to a script by Duval & Pécau, depicts the magnificent White Star liner steaming triumphantly into a gleaming city harbor — her four funnels proud against a skyline crowded with towers, a small tugboat at her side and gulls wheeling in her wake. It's a quietly stirring image, the grand ship arriving exactly where history said she never would, on April 17, 1912.
