A towering medieval knight's statue looms over a darkened, storm-lit sky as waves of warplanes swarm around it — a striking collision of centuries that sets the tone perfectly for this alternate-history series. Jour J #14 brings the "Oméga" arc to a head with a cover by Manchu and Fred Blanchard that frames the central tension beautifully: the subtitle tells us that in 1942, the suspicious death of an Aéropostale hero has rekindled the embers of the Hundred Years' War. Writers Duval and Pécau, with art by Maza, continue to make Jour J one of the most imaginative alternate-history series in French comics.
