Josie and the Pussycats #76
In "To Catch a Thief," Josie and the Pussycats turn the tables on Alex, the self-important band member who never bothers to learn real names—instead, he dubs everyone with ridiculous nicknames. When Josie and Valerie finally get their revenge by calling him nothing but fake names, his ego crumbles, leaving him so flustered he can't even remember his own. A classic, lighthearted showdown of wit and vanity, written by Frank Doyle and brought to life with Dan DeCarlo’s expressive art, Rudy Lapick’s crisp inks, Barry Grossman’s vibrant colors, and Bill Yoshida’s sharp lettering, all on a cover by Dan DeCarlo and Rudy Lapick.

Alex constantly calls people by made-up names because he considers himself too important to have to learn people's real names. Josie and Valerie give him some payback by calling him everything except his real name, making him so angry that he goes crazy and forgets his own name.
