Cosey brings his signature atmospheric linework to Jonathan #11, "Greyshore Island," as the cover sets a quietly moody tone — a weathered waterfront building, its dockside planks battered by choppy grey water, with a lone figure in a yellow jacket standing near the entrance of what appears to be a general store. The scene captures that sense of remote, wind-swept isolation that makes this Belgian series so distinctive, and Cosey's draftsmanship renders every salt-worn plank and crashing wave with unhurried care. A fine 1989 entry in this understated adventure series.
