Johnny Mack Brown #5

Johnny Mack Brown becomes involved when the Dillon Brothers, notorious outlaws, hold a woman hostage to force her father Jesse Dillon to release their brother from the "Death House" prison. When Johnny discovers the hostage situation, he pursues the criminals through a series of confrontations. The story culminates in a showdown where Johnny works to rescue the hostage and thwart the outlaws' scheme. The issue also includes a backup feature, "Snucker-Eyes Rawson," a true story of a legendary Texas Ranger known for his exceptional marksmanship, depicted at a county fair demonstration and later in a confrontation with an outlaw.
